Welcome to the Northumbria Staff Lottery!

Northumbria Healthcare staff can sign up to win one of 11 cash prizes every month.

Tickets cost just £1, and you can buy up to four each month. This is deducted from your salary for ease. 

The more people who join, the bigger the prizes! 

Every ticket helps Bright Northumbria Healthcare Charity, support your patients, colleagues, and local community.

Changes to Staff Lottery

The Staff Lottery is valued by staff and it supports many good causes within the trust. It has been some time since we did a health check on the lottery, so we are taking an opportunity to refresh the arrangements across the organisation. This includes the policies and procedures that sit behind it to make sure that we continue to offer a well-supported scheme into the future.

What's changing?

As part of this refresh, from 15 October 2025, we need to temporarily put a hold on registering new accounts and prevent the purchase of new and additional tickets for the lottery until further notice.

Please be assured this will not affect any tickets you already have for the lottery; we just need to temporarily stop any new entries or additional tickets being purchased until this work is completed.

You can still log in and check your staff lottery account, if you have difficulty logging in contact StaffLottery@northumbria.nhs.uk.

Monthly prize draws will continue as normal.
